REHAB ESSENTIALS PREHAB

GET PREPARED FOR THE FACE TO FACE COMPONENT

Welcome to this critical part of your preparation for the upcoming Rehab Essentials course: four short online videos that will prepare you for entry into what we affectionately call the REHAB "game"!

Each of the lectures is between 10 and 35 minutes long, and I would encourage you to sit down in a comfortable location, with your printed out lecture notes in front of you, cup of tea or glass of wine in hand, and then press "Play".

Any questions don't hesitate to email
Ulrik, or maybe you can save them for our first hour of the first day of your Rehab Essentials course when we will do some workshops to consolidate what you have learned.

Lecture 1 - Who Plays the Game?

Identifying Vulnerable Clients (35 min)

Lecture 2 - Doing R+E+H+A+B

How do you play the game? (15 min)

Lecture 3 - Understanding the Opponent and Playing to Win

The REHAB Record (15 min)

Lecture 4 - One Important Rule

EXTRA READING

For the very motivated or academic amongst us, dive into these challenging articles. Any effort is forward movement!

This a brilliantly written and presented article on the spine by Mark Comerford; physiotherapist, director of Kinetic Control and one of the best in the world in injury Rehab. He writes eloquently about core stability, which is a great intro to what we will learn on your third face-face day (please note: you do not have to understand it all - just have a go!)
